Frequently Asked Questions

How would you describe your style of wedding photography?
Our "style" is to shoot in the photojournalistic approach, which means the Photographer moves through the wedding capturing special moments and details of your wedding as he finds them. However, most couples do want portraits of themeselves, family, bridal party, etc., so we usually spend a short portion of your wedding creating these images as well.

Do you employ an assistant?
Photographer is accompanied by a photography assistant who helps with equipment and other matters that relate to his work.

Do you use a second shooter/photographer?
Yes.  Please inquire about availability.

What is your medium of photography?
We shoot 100% digital.

How long will it take to get my proof CD or high-resolution DVD?
Images are usually mailed out 4-6 weeks from your event date, depending on our work flow.

Will I be able to view all my wedding images online?
All of our packages include the posting of your images online for three months.  It will give you, your family and friends the ability to view your images and the option of ordering professional quality prints directly from your computer..

When am I required to pay the fee for my wedding package?
A $100 deposit/retainer holds your wedding date.  The remaining package fee amount is due no later than fifteen days prior to your event.

When is my wedding date considered booked?
We have a "first come, first served" policy.  No date is actually considered booked until we receive and accept the necessary contract and deposit.  We do often, as a courtesy, attempt to contact the first interested party in those instances where a second interested party makes an inquiry for the same date.

Do you accept credit cards?
Currently, we accept credit card payments through PayPal.  We also accept payment by cash and check.

Do the custom designed wedding albums contain color and black & white images?
Yes.  Your wedding album will contain a mixture of color and black & white images.  There isn't a set number or ratio used, the decision to include an image as color or black & white depends on design and emotional considerations, as well as the Bride and Groom's preferances..

If I would like to have formal, posed photos of family, bridal party, etc., when is the best time to do this?
If the bride and groom are OK with seeing each other before the ceremony, we prefer to take all formal shots before the ceremony. As for how much time is required to take the formals, it would depend on how many formal shots are required by the bride and groom.  Generally, we suggest that you figure about two minutes for each shot grouping.  If it is a large grouping (i.e., more than eight persons in the shot), you would need to add more time for the shot.
